  • **Position: Inside Coordinator, Horizon Community**

    **Responsibilities:**

    - Oversee daily activities of residents in the housing unit.

    - Collaborate with institutional staff, chaplaincy, and Executive Director.

    - Report to a management team including the warden, a Chaplaincy Services designee, and a program provider representative.

    - Screen and recommend program participants.

    - Recommend removal or sanctions for participants as needed.

    - Supervise and encourage full participation of residents.

    - Provide one-on-one counseling.

    - Develop and identify programs for participant needs.

    - Lead group meetings to foster leadership and interpersonal skills.

    - Schedule and facilitate program presentations.

    - Recruit and manage volunteers.

    - Evaluate participants' progress with prison staff.

    - Ensure safety in collaboration with security personnel.

    Applicant Profile:

    - Full-time, 36 hours/week, $23/hour, $43,056 annual salary.

    - Must be an active self-starter, adaptable to unusual schedules, including evenings.

    - No specific degree required; preferred fields: Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology.

    - Experience in dependency programs and small group work required.

    - Willingness to learn Non-Violent Communication, Restorative Justice, and Conscious Discipline.

    - Strong interpersonal skills, able to interface with prison administration, staff, and residents.
